George And Flagler Lead No. 14 Baylor Over Oklahoma, 8272
WACO, Texas (AP) — Keyonte George had 23 points, Adam Flagler had 20 and senior Jonathan Chamwa Chachua hit two vital 3-pointers as 14th seed Baylor held on to an 82-72 win over Oklahoma Wednesday night.
Flagler scored 14 points in the game's final at 13-11, the first of which was a jumper that brought Baylor back to stay.
Shortly after Flagler's field goal to Oklahoma's only second-half lead, Chamois Chachua hit his first 3-pointer. The 6-foot-8 forward, known as "Everyday John," scored two goals in 3 seconds on Saturday in his first game since February 12 when he tore ligaments in his left knee.
Langston Love added 19 points to Baylor (18-6, 7-4 Big 12), who have won eight of nine games since losing their first three league games.
The Sooners (12-12, 2-9) lost their sixth straight game in the conference, the last three after a 93-69 win, which is still hard to explain given their record at the time. 2 Alabama in the Big 12/SEC challenge. They lost 93-61 in West Virginia last weekend.
Grant Sherfield scored 15 points including 4 three-pointers while Milos Uzan added 11 points. Otega Ove and Joe Bamisile each scored 10 points.
Oklahoma only took the lead after the first minute when Tanner Groves returned the ball after Chamua Chachua blocked it and backhanded it 13:52 to make it 48:47. It ended 10-2 when Joe Bamasilli also saved his missed shot.
Baylor got back in front to keep Flagler's rush before Chamois Chachua hit a 3 on the same possession that Jalen Bridges and Flagler missed from behind the arc. Chamoa Chachua and Flagler went 3 seconds in a row.
Bridges and Flagler each scored 3 seconds in the 1:30 final at Norman on Jan. 21 as the Bears defeated Oklahoma 62-60.

Oklahoma won 30 straight games against Baylor through 2009, but the Bears have won 19 of 30 since then. This includes the last 11 games of the regular season.
Looks like Baylor will return to his throws. The Bears shot 46.6% (27 of 58) from the field and shot nine threes after a season-high 53.8% (35 of 65) on 10 threes Saturday against Texas Tech. This came after a four-game win streak at 37.1% or worse.

Baylor plays at No. 17 TCU on Saturdays. The Horned Frogs closed a 17-point gap on Jan. 4 in Waco to defeat the Bears 88-87.
