OPPO is preparing a new high-end Android smartphone with a one-inch camera sensor. The device will be launched in February under the name Find X6 Pro. It will arrive alongside the Vanilla Find X6 and another Pro model with a slightly different interior.

According to information leaked via Weibo, the OPPO Find X6 Pro will have two processor variants. One will get the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, while the other will get the MediaTek Dimensity 9200. The Snapdragon variant will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The Dimensity model will also have a 50MP rear camera, but it's a Sony IMX890 sensor. The latter camera has a much smaller footprint of 1/1.56 inch.

The two variants of the OPPO Find X6 Pro will differ in other areas as well. The Snapdragon model will get the latest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, while the Dimensity version will continue with the previous generation LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. However, the rest of the interior looks the same. Both variants will give you a large 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. You also get the same 32 MP selfie camera (Sony IMX709 sensor).

The 50-megapixel main unit will be on the back with two other 50-megapixel cameras (ultrawide and zoom). It's also a Sony IMX890 sensor. OPPO also offers a 3D Time-of-Time (ToF) sensor and a 13-channel color sensor in the phone. The Find X6 Pro will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Other highlights of OPPO's upcoming flagship phone include IP68 water resistance rating against dust and water and NFC support.

Part of the OPPO Find X6 series, it's a vanilla model with relatively modest specs like the two pros. It will have the previous generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The selfie camera has not changed, the main rear camera is also borrowed from the Dimensity-based Pro model. But the other two 50MP rear cameras are Samsung's ISOCELL JN1 sensor and Sony's IMX763 sensor. It also has 3D ToF color sensors and 13 channels.

On the screen, this model received a slightly smaller 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with the same resolution and refresh rate. It's also downgraded to a 4,800mAh battery, which means it's limited to 80W wired and 30W wireless charging. According to a new report, the OPPO Find X6 series will be confirmed next month. Unfortunately, there is no definitive date yet. We may see more phone leaks in the coming weeks.
