Carter, is that you?! The boy, played by Finn Little, moved to Dutton Ranch to join his housemates Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hyer) in the fourth season of Yellowstone , surprising fans with his sudden growth spurt. Many viewers were convinced that the actor had completely changed. "So we think Tate is growing up between seasons and Carter is planning to retire while paying taxes?" one viewer joked on Twitter. Another commenter added, "No way Carter! God. When season 4 ends, this kid's mom will still be on Instagram!"

Ironically, Little was just 16 years old at the time of puberty. "She came over this year and looked at me and said, 'You're not going to sleep,'" Houser, who went from a "chubby kid" to a "6ft 1" veteran, told ET . K This is with me. year, col. In honor of Rip Wheeler's fashion house, "Hit the throat, and I don't care." Ah, Yellowstone

In the show's five-episode premiere, Carter joked with John Dutton (Kevin Costner) that he hadn't seen him in a while. John even goes to re-introduce himself when he looks startled. "I know who you are," John replied, "Jesus Christ...let me grow because I am afraid!" Then he said, "If you grow a beard, you will be fired." Isn't this a family cause for concern?! Now we're adding the beard to Dutton's list of enemies.

In an Instagram post in May, Finn Little joked that the Yellowstone film crew didn't recognize him when he returned to the set. "Hey, when you say nice to meet you, the film crew and they don't know who you are!" he joked. Less than a month before the season five premiere, "My closet has grown, see you soon!"

The boy had a hard time at Yellowstone Ranch, but who hasn't in Dutton? Creator Taylor Sheridan "didn't really give Carter any air to breathe," Houser told ET . "I've had a lot of breakthroughs this year... when he studied and failed, but at least he tried. So I think Taylor did a great job writing this year where Finn and I, the cast, can slowly bring the dog in. Great Finn! Maybe having a leg up in the cowboy business has its perks."

Yellowstone fans are going crazy after getting a sneak peek at the fifth season.
