Xiaomi 13 To Come With LeicaTuned Cameras, MIUI 14, And More

Xiaomi is expected to unveil its new flagship soon in the form of the rumored Xiaomi 13 and we are starting to see leaks and rumors about it. Now we have new details that will give us a clearer picture of the upcoming Xiaomi phone. Check the details below for a better idea.

The camera, display and other details of Xiaomi 13 were leaked online

Well-known broadcaster Digital Chat Station has suggested that the Xiaomi 13 series will have Leica-based cameras , just like the Xiaomi 12S line. All Xiaomi 13 phones will come with a Leica telephoto lens. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to come with a 1-inch sensor for the main camera. It could be a Sony IMX8 series sensor. Remember that the previous leak showed a 50-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX989 sensor, very similar to the Xiaomi 12S Pro.

The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The company has already confirmed that its next flagship will get this chipset and this could be it. It is also assumed that all phones will run MIUI 14, based on Android 13 , which may be announced at the same time.

Other details include a 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate support and 120W fast charging. The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are expected to join the lineup. A recently leaked image of a retail box reveals that the Xiaomi 13 may actually be called the Xiaomi 14. If that happens, it wouldn't be the first time the brand has skipped an entire generation of phones. OnePlus released the OnePlus 5 right after the OnePlus 3, and Apple skipped the iPhone 9 release and launched the iPhone X instead. However, it remains to be seen exactly what Xiaomi plans to do with the naming scheme of its next flagship.

In terms of design, some renders have leaked recently, suggesting a design with flat edges and a flat screen . The rear camera cluster is visible, including cameras arranged in a diagonal triangle, like the iPhone 14. Most likely, all models will have the same design.
