Xiaomi's 200MP Flagship Phone Is Getting A Global Launch
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi announced a mega event on October 4 where it will unveil its next flagship smartphone with a 200-megapixel main camera. Xiaomi may not be the most famous name in the US, but it is one of the largest smartphone sellers in the world, alongside Apple and Samsung. It is particularly popular in China, India and Europe, where millions of mobile devices, TVs, laptops and countless other gadgets are sold every year. However, smartphones remain the company's daily bread and its current flagship around the world is the Xiaomi 12 Pro, launched earlier this year.
Xiaomi's next flagship is rumored to have a 200-megapixel main camera, which has been confirmed by multiple reports from various sources in recent months. However, the upcoming device won't be the first with a 200-megapixel camera. This honor goes to the Moto X30 Pro, which was officially unveiled in China last month as the world's first smartphone with a 200-megapixel camera. The most talked about image sensor in Motorola flagships is Samsung's ISOCELL HP1, which was announced last year but is now starting to hit retail devices.

While Xiaomi hasn't revealed what these "mega" products might be, the media suggests the company may release several AIoT devices, although their exact identity remains a mystery.
This was announced on Xiaomi's global Twitter account and hinted that the Xiaomi 12T series will be a global release. This means that the device will be available outside of China and in markets such as India and Europe. However, like Xiaomi smartphones, they are unlikely to be available in the US
