Heres The Full List Of All 71 Games Confirmed For The PS5
- At the Future of Gaming event earlier this month, Sony unveiled dozens of new games for the PS5, and a complete library of first-wave games is now forming.
- According to our statistics, 71 in-house and third-party games have been confirmed for PS5.
- Some of the most anticipated PS5 exclusives are Horizon Forbidden West , Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales , Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart , and Gran Turismo 7 .
A couple of weeks ago, Sony finally broke its silence on the PlayStation 5 and saw for the first time dozens of games from first and third-party developers currently in development for its next-generation home console. From instantly loading new levels in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to real-time ray tracing in Gran Turismo 7 , we're seeing for the first time what game developers can achieve with updated hardware.
And with only a few months left until the PS5's mysterious "holiday 2020" release date, we're also beginning to get a better idea of what the game library will look like in the first year or two of the console's life. We're still a bit confused about this fall's launch schedule, but after searching the web, we think we've come up with a pretty comprehensive list of all the confirmed PS5 games so far, with or without a release date.
This first list includes all games that are, or clearly are, PS5 exclusives, as you won't see any of these games on Xbox Series X or Switch (but they may end up on PC):
- Astro playroom
- devil spirit
- Destroy all stars
- Gran Turisma 7
- Forbidden Western Horizon
- Marvel Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Athena Project
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Divided
- Back
- Sackboy: Big Adventure
We have also confirmed that all other games are playable on PS5. Some of these games (such as The Last of Us Part II ) will launch on PS4 and be compatible with PS5, while others (such as Cyberpunk 2077 ) will initially launch on PS4 with an enhanced version for PS5 coming later, and some games only. Third parties that will be available for multiple platforms, including Xbox Series X and PC:

By my count, as of June 23, 71 games have been confirmed for the PlayStation 5. Sony has said it has a series of updates planned for the PS5 this summer, so expect that list to grow throughout the year. Additionally, Microsoft has an exclusive event planned for next month, which means we'll be back with a similar plan for Xbox Series X as soon as we know more about the library.
