Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Unveiling Could Be Just Around The Corner

The Xiaomi Mi Band 8 announcement could be coming sooner rather than later, and the fitness tracker will arrive alongside the company's latest smartphone.

At least that's according to an industry leak via Twitter, which suggests the next-gen tracker has entered production ahead of a global launch.

The new fitness bracelet could be revealed as part of Xiaomi's MWC plans when the tech show in Barcelona takes place at the end of February, although it seems more likely that it will be announced alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra a bit later. .

And with the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 last May, the Mi Band 6 in March and the Mi Band 5 in June, it's very likely that we'll see the release of the eighth generation model in the second quarter.

Of course, nothing is confirmed yet and it's just a wild rumor right now, but it seems to be in line with the strategy we've seen in recent years.

Any potential version of the standard Mi Band 8 will likely be accompanied by a Pro version. And if it turns out to be the Mi Band 7 Pro, we should see a more expensive and advanced model announced this summer and shipped worldwide by the end of 2023.

For now, we'll keep an eye out for more regular rumors and whispers about the Mi Band 8. We should get details on design changes, new features, and pricing as we get closer to the announcement.
