OPPO Find N2 Flip Is Coming Next Week, And It's A Global Launch

Samsung dominates the list of the best foldable smartphones you can buy. While other brands have thrown their hats in the ring, nothing has stopped Samsung from being the king of innovative gadgets. However, things are changing.

Chinese OEM OPPO has just set the global launch date for the OPPO Find N2 Flip. The phone launched in China in December and has been in the country ever since. It looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, even the purple color is Samsung. Now it looks like OPPO is ready to take on Samsung on the global stage as the Find N2 Flip goes on sale in the UK on February 15 at 14:30 GMT (AM 5:00 ET).

Unfortunately, the OPPO Find N2 doesn't appear to be making its global debut at the event. This phone looks a lot like the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in that it opens like a book. The Find N2 is more compact than the Galaxy Z Fold, with a shallower crease and a less visible center crease. We'll have to wait and see if this device makes it to the Chinese market.

We already know a lot about the Find N2 Flip as it has already been launched in China. It has the largest screen of any flip phone at 3.26 inches, beating Samsung's 1.9-inch equivalent. Inside is a 6.8-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It's powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, a 4300mAh battery (bigger than the 3700mAh battery in the Galaxy Z Flip 4 ) and Color OS 13 powered by Android 13. The phone features a 50MP primary shooter coupled with an ultra-wide 8MP angled lens on the rear.

The main thing we don't know about the OPPO Find N2 Flip is the price. To compete with Samsung, OPPO will have to lower the Galaxy Z Flip 4's UK starting price of £999 (~$1,212). If OPPO tries to charge more than Samsung, the phone is DOA.
