Xiaomi 13 Lite Is Coming With Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 & Familiar Design

It seems that Xiaomi is still planning to launch the Xiaomi 13 Lite. The phone has been spotted on the Google Play Console and this listing gives us a good idea of ​​what to expect. Note that the phone will most likely launch alongside the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro during MWC 2023.

The design of the Xiaomi 13 Lite is slightly larger

The design of the phone was spotted on the Google Play Console along with some of the specifications of the phone. But that's not all. The device is codenamed "Ziyi", which actually corresponds to the Xiaomi Civi 2. Interestingly, the linked image is the same as the Xiaomi Civi 1S.

As you can see in the image above, the device is expected to have a centrally located camera hole. The edges will be thin and the screen will look curved. Three cameras are visible on the back.

Interestingly, the Xiaomi 13 Lite is expected to have a curved screen, while the regular model will have a flat screen. The Xiaomi 13 Pro, on the other hand, has curved edges. How do we know? Well, the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were launched in China last month. They will go on sale worldwide next month, probably during MWC 2023 in Barcelona.

The phone will have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

However, some of the features of the phone are listed. The device will have a FullHD+ (2400 x 1080) panel and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will power the device. The listing also mentions that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will have 8GB of RAM.

Android 12 is listed as pre-installed, though the phone ships with Android 13 at launch. It is still a bit surprising that the phone looks like the Xiaomi Civi 1S, but Xiaomi will probably go for this design.

We remind you that Xiaomi Civi 2 has a tablet-shaped notch on its screen, which is slightly different from Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. On the other hand, the specifications of the phone are more in the vein of the Xiaomi Civi 2. There is a bit of confusion, we will have to wait and see what Xiaomi has planned.
