Vivo T2 Pro 5G India Launch Confirmed, Colour Option Teased: Details

The company has confirmed the launch and availability of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G in India. The phone will soon arrive in India via Flipkart. Vivo's report claims that the smartphone will debut in at least a gold color. The upcoming Vivo T2 Pro 5G has a hole at the top center of the display. Previously, the leaked specifications of the phone showed a 3D curved display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will be the successor to the Vivo T1 Pro 5G, launched in India in May 2022.

On Tuesday, Vivo X confirmed via a post (earlier on Twitter) that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be available in India soon. The smartphone will be sold via Flipkart. However, the company is yet to announce the exact release date of the smartphone. Reports suggest that the smartphone will feature a punch-hole display, at least gold in color. The power and volume buttons will be located on the right side of the smartphone. Apart from this, the company has not revealed any details about its specifications and features.

It was previously reported that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G would feature a 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200Hz touch sampling rate. It would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to feature a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). The thickness of the phone can be 7.4mm.

The soon-to-be-launched Vivo T2 Pro 5G could be the successor to last year's Vivo T1 Pro 5G. FunTouch OS 12 based on Android 12 is the latest to arrive in May 2022. The phone features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2404 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, The Vivo T1 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC.

In terms of optics, the phone has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video chats, the phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens.
