Sony's new WF-1000XM5 wireless headphones went official yesterday and will be available in the UK and Europe from August with a host of features.

Now that we've learned more about these new wireless noise-canceling headphones from Sony in a new review video from TechSpart, let's take a closer look at them.

The new Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones cost €319 in Europe and £259 in the UK and will be available in the UK and Europe from August. More information is available on the Sony website.

The WF-1000XM5 is equipped with advanced technology to deliver the highest sound quality and best noise canceling performance [iii] on the market. A real-time audio processor and a high-performance microphone drive a specially designed dynamic driver x driver unit to reproduce wide frequencies, deep bass and clear vocals. They are designed to immerse you in great sound so that you feel like you are in the studio with your favorite artist.

The WF-1000XM5 now features three microphones in each earcup, including dual feedback microphones that improve bass cancellation performance. This is Sony's biggest step forward in noise cancellation, helping to capture ambient sound more accurately.

Newly developed by Sony, the built-in V2 processor unlocks the potential of the QN2e HD noise canceling processor. A unique combination of technologies drives six microphones in both ears to deliver unparalleled quality noise cancellation that can be tuned to work best in your environment.
