New Leak Suggests OPPO's Upcoming Phone Is A Slightly Upgraded Find N2 Flip
Recently, a rendering of the OPPO Find N3 Flip leaked, giving us a first look at what the upcoming smartphone will look like.
The following information comes from 91mobile , whose image is based on an "Early EVT (Engineering Evaluation Test)" prototype. The final product can look completely different. So take it all with a grain of salt. However, OPPO doesn't seem very interested in changing the design of the Find N2 Flip , as the upcoming device has a lot in common with the previous model. The smartphone is said to have the same "foldable foldable design and the same large external display" as before. The most noticeable difference this time is the presence of a third camera lens.
According to 91Mobiles, the OPPO Find N3 Flip will have the same camera system as the China-exclusive OPPO Reno 10 Pro, although it will look quite different. At the top, there's a 50MP Sony IMX890 lens with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, or optical image stabilization. This allows the camera to deliver stable images with the N3 Flip. Exclusive to the N3 Flip is a 32-megapixel telephoto lens that helps you capture that perfect close-up. Third is the 8MP ultra-wide lens as seen on the N2 Flip.
As for the rest of the lineup, the report says that the OPPO Find N3 Flip will have the "same specifications" as the Find N2 Flip.
The main screen will remain a 6.8-inch Full HD Plus display (1920 x 1280 pixel resolution) with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smaller screen on the front still looks like a 3.26-inch 17:9 AMOLED panel. . According to 91mobiles, under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. And the 4300mAh battery is said to support 44W fast wireless charging.
There is nothing more to disclose about this news. 91Mobile OPPO Find N3 Flip is expected to launch in early December at a price of Rs 75,490. This equates to around £720 / AUD$1,400. By comparison, you can buy the Find N2 Flip on Amazon for £670, so this model seems more expensive.
OPPO doesn't make it in the US, so it's highly unlikely that the Find N3 Flip will be available there. If you're looking for something with more global coverage, check out TechRadar's list of the best foldable phones for 2023.
