German industrial giant Siemens AG unveiled a strategic plan to accelerate growth in China at the Siemens Digital Economy Forum in Beijing on Wednesday.

Siemens ag announced the launch of the fourth phase expansion project of the Chengdu Digital Factory, an industrial automation product from Siemens, China's smart manufacturing foundation. The expansion is primarily based on the production of the Siemens Plc S7 series and 200sp distributed I/O systems and human-machine interface products.

Foreign-funded companies have recognized the opportunity provided by smart manufacturing in China.
