Xiaomi Band 8 Will Launch Alongside Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Design Confirmed

Xiaomi Band 8 will be launched together with Xiaomi 13 Ultra on April 18. The company has also confirmed the design of the upcoming sophisticated device. Xiaomi has shared the image of the device on its official website in China.

If you look at the image above, you'll see what we're talking about. Xiaomi shares a lot of information here as it shows us different versions of the Band 8.

Some of these models have metal bracelets, others leather, etc. The device also seems to be launching with two completely different iterations. One will have standard smartwatch lugs and the other will have a U-shaped clip to which you can attach certain types of straps, or even carabiners if you prefer.

Based on the type of watch strap Xiaomi is showing here, we assume that the U-Clip models will be aimed at women. Judging by this image, the Band 8's body also appears to be metal, but we'll have to wait and see.

This image also confirms that it uses the color screen as expected. It will also be touch screen and OLED type. We can't see the physical button in this image, but it may be hidden from view on the right hand side and angled downward.

It is expected to be fully accessible and we may even get a "Pro" version.

Xiaomi Band 8 should be totally affordable like its predecessors. We can also see the standard and "Pro" model of the device, just like last year. The difference between the two may be the built-in GPS feature, or perhaps last year's design.

We expect blood oxygen monitoring to be included and all-day heart rate monitoring to be the same. Sleep tracking is also included. You can also receive notifications on your device and control your phone's music player.
