Travis Kelce Joins Machine Gun Kelly On Stage During Kelce Jam: See Photos From Their Duet
From the grill to the stage! Just months after his second Super Bowl win, Travis Kelce hosted his first music festival to celebrate National Football League (NFL) weekend.
The Kansas City Chiefs invited Machine Gun Kelly , Loud Luxury , Rick Ross , and Tech N9N , 33, to join them for an epic party at Kansas City's Azura Amphitheater. During the 32-year-old "emo girl" singer's performance, she brought vocalist Kells on stage for a special duet.
The Good Morning star , whose real name is Colson Baker of Ohio, teamed up on a cover of the Beastie Boys' 1982 hit "Fight for Your Right." In the impromptu duet, Kelly wore a yellow shirt and baggy pants. NFL pros, meanwhile, wore jeans with jackets and bucket hats to match.
Kelce, whose football team beat brother Jason Kelce's Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in February, announced earlier this month that he would be hosting and producing a music festival called Kelce Jam in connection with the NFL draft.
"Kansas City are you ready to fight for your right to party? Excited to announce one of KC's biggest events... my @kelcejam music festival," he wrote on Instagram at the time. "Together with friends and superstar artists @machinegunkelly, @richforever, @loudluxury and @therealtechn9ne, this will be the final Draft Weekend event and the perfect way to continue celebrating our championship season. Join me Friday night, April 28th as we bring out the Amphitheater Azura to Kells - became a craze".
The celebration, which featured a surprise cameo from Donna Kells , mother of Travis and Jason, took place just hours after the start of the NFL Draft in Kansas City. In the annual draft, which airs live on ABC and ESPN, college football players find out which pro teams they will be joining for next season. Quarterback Travis and Chiefs Patrick Mahomes also appeared on the broadcast as Super Bowl champions.
"My, my, my! Hey, Kingdom of Bosses, are we this or what?" shouted Travis Lombardi during the broadcast, holding his trophy. “We are fighting for our right to party, how? Is this thing shiny or what? Are you ready to buy the number 1 choice or what?"
The Chiefs selected Felix Anudike-Uzoma , Rashi Rice , Wanya Morris , Chamorry Conner , BJ Thompson in the first round, and Stephen F. Austin was drafted.
