Google Pixel 7 Pro vs Xiaomi 13 Ultra. design
These two phones look very different. Well, if you look at them from the front, they look a lot more alike than they actually are. The Google Pixel 7 Pro is made of metal and glass. It has Gorilla Glass Victus on the back and the frame is made of aluminum. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is made of metal and has a vegan leather back cover on the back. There really is a lot to tell here.
The back of the Pixel 7 Pro is the same thickness in all areas except for the camera lens. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra does not. It's thickest around the camera, with the back plate getting thicker towards the top. This is Xiaomi's design choice to avoid the oversized Oreo camera. The company had to find a way to fit four 50-megapixel cameras, including a 1-inch one. The vegetable-leather back panel doesn't hang on the frame either, instead cracking before it does. It looks amazing and the first app we've ever seen.
Both phones have curved displays, thin bezels and a camera notch in the middle. The Pixel 7 Pro has slightly sharper corners and a camera guard on the back. This mask is connected to the frame on the left and right and covered with metal. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a large circular rear camera island centered on the top rear of the phone.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is slightly taller and slightly narrower than the Pixel 7 Pro, as well as slightly thicker and slightly heavier. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra feels less slippery than the Pixel 7 Pro. Both smartphones have an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Both look very solid and, as you'd expect, have top-of-the-line tech. Neither phone, if any, is easy to use with one hand. Not only big, but at the same time very massive.
Google Pixel 7 Pro vs. Xiaomi 13 Ultra: display
The Google Pixel 7 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440) AMOLED LTPO display. This panel is curved and has a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ content and reaches a maximum brightness of up to 1500 nits. Here we see an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and Gorilla Glass Victus protecting the screen.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED (3200 x 1440) display. This panel is also curved and supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Dolby Vision is also supported, as is HDR10+ content. This panel is significantly brighter than the Pixel 7 Pro at 2,600 nits. As of this writing, it's technically the brightest screen out there. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
Both shows are very good. It offers vivid colors with deep blacks and very good viewing angles. Touch response is also good. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has an advantage in terms of brightness. This screen is great for outdoors, especially when the sun is shining. In fact, the difference between the two is stark. If that's not a problem for you, one of the monitors will really help you out.
Google Pixel 7 Pro vs Xiaomi 13 Ultra. carry out
This flagship phone from Google is powered by the Google Tensor G2 SoC. In addition, Google has integrated 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory here. Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The SoC supports up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes with a more powerful SoC and newer/better storage and RAM.
This is the difference you will notice when using it. Yes and no. If you use them side by side, you will definitely notice Snapdragon 8 Gen 2's faster speed in everyday use. The Pixel 7 Pro itself is fast and smooth, and the chip inside is pretty powerful. Sure, it's a bit slower than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but as long as you're not using them side-by-side, honestly, you shouldn't worry too much.
Everything changes when you play. In the gaming department, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is significantly better, especially when it comes to demanding games. The Tensor G2 isn't really built for gaming, nor is the Pixel 7 Pro. So if you plan to play heavy games on your phone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is definitely your best choice. However, the Pixel 7 Pro will also serve you well for most games.
Google Pixel 7 Pro vs Xiaomi 13 Ultra. battery
Both smartphones have 5000 mAh batteries. However, it doesn't offer nearly the same battery life. The Pixel 7 Pro is a bit picky for us when it comes to battery consumption. Sometimes good, sometimes pretty average in the months we've seen it. It currently offers up to 7 hours of screen time most of the time.
We're still testing the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and so far it's doing better than the Pixel 7 Pro in terms of battery life. That's far from the level of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and OnePlus 11. However, you can get 7.5-8 hours. Remember gaming is not part of this equation and I take tons of photos every day. However, your mileage may vary due to using different apps with different signal strengths.
When charging, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra beats the Pixel 7 Pro. It supports 90W wired charging, 50W reverse wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The Pixel 7 Pro supports 23W wired charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. Also, Ultraomi 1st has a 90 -W charger in the box, while the Pixel 7 Pro doesn't have any charger at all, just a charging cable.
Google Pixel 7 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra: cameras
The Pixel 7 Pro has a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide module (126-degree FoV) and a 48 MP telephoto camera (5x optical zoom). The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, on the other hand, is equipped with a 50.3 MP main camera (1-inch camera sensor, variable aperture), a 50 MP ultra wide-angle module (122° FoV) and a 50 MP telephoto camera (3.2). . x optical zoom) and a 50 MP telephoto module (5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom).
In terms of camera hardware, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra beats the Pixel 7 Pro. In fact, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is probably the most powerful smartphone out there when it comes to camera hardware. The Pixel 7 Pro delivers excellent results with its settings thanks to Google's excellent image processing. Well, these two phones offer very different results and more or less target different people.
The Pixel 7 Pro does its best to get the photos right and is definitely one of the best. As a result, photos look great - sharp, clear and all. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra relies more on its excellent hardware so that images look more natural and colors stand out. Images appear sharper in low light but are less processed. It also looks more natural in low light. The Pixel 7 Pro's low-light photos look good, but sometimes they don't look like they were taken in low light. This might be a look you like. It's all a matter of preference.
We love the Xiaomi 13 Ultra's telephoto camera for the great portrait mode it offers. Meanwhile, the ultra-wide-angle camera keeps up well with the main unit. Even low-light close-ups are not to be scoffed at. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also has a periscope telephoto lens for an insane zoom range, unlike the Pixel 7 Pro. Video recording on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is better, more stable and at the same time looks more natural.
Both smartphones are great for taking photos. It all depends on what you need from the phone in this case. The results are very different. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is definitely more professional and flexible at the same time. The Pixel 7 Pro is great for touch and capture, so it could suit a wider range of people.
My voice
You'll find a set of stereo speakers on both phones. The Pixel 7 Pro has the main speaker at the bottom and the secondary unit under the earbud grille. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra's speakers are located on the top and bottom of the phone. Xiaomi's flagship offers a richer sound and these headphones are also louder. Even more bass included. The difference isn't huge, though, as the Pixel 7 Pro is strong in that regard too.
Neither device has a 3.5mm headphone jack. For a wired connection, you must use a Type-C dongle or headphones. If you prefer wireless headphones, you'll be happy to know that the Pixel 7 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra offer Bluetooth 5.2 and Bluetooth 5.3, respectively.
