Speaking about the economy and jobs, Espindola agrees with experts who believe that AI will eventually increase GDP and create new jobs. But he expects job losses to outweigh job creation, especially in areas like software development.

According to research, over the past 15 years, people's attention span has decreased from 12 seconds in 2000 to 8.25 seconds in 2015 .

Espindola said he believes that people's attention span will become shorter and shorter in the near future due to the amount of information on the Internet. But in the long run, AI will do most or all of the work done by hand or inconvenient for a human.

“We can use different skills, such as lateral thinking, that is, the ability to correctly connect dots from different areas. So if you want, they will become our experts, and then people will develop the ability to ask the right questions. ask questions and connect the dots and turn that information into a coherent story and “Can produce consistent results. So I think in the short term we will be busier than we are now and crazier than we are today,” he said.
