Vivo X Flip Details Appear, New Clamshell Foldable Coming

Now, a few details about the Vivo X Flip have surfaced. As you probably guessed from the name, this is a folding clam shell. Upon launch, it will be Vivo's first rubber-coated foldable smartphone.

Vivo X Flip Detailed Specs Just Revealed

The Flip brand has become synonymous with flip phones. Samsung has been using it for years now and OPPO adopted it with the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Both of these companies have some of the most outstanding phones on the market today.

After all, the Vivo X Flip has been spotted in the past, but we haven't heard from it in a while. Well, the famous tipster, Digital Chat Station, has shared some details about the device.

Tipper claims the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It's not Qualcomm's most powerful offering at the moment, but it's still an impressive high-power processor. Definitely a good choice.

A large foldable main display with a 120Hz refresh rate will be included.

The phone will feature a 6.8-inch FullHD+ foldable main display with a camera cutout in the center of the screen. Incidentally, this panel will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The hood panels will be square, but the damper has not yet shared details.

Vivo will have 12GB of RAM and a 4400mAh battery inside the phone. 44W wired charging will be supported, but wireless charging may not be possible.

This phone will have two cameras on the back

The rear will include a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX866 sensor) and a 12MP secondary camera (Sony IMX663 sensor). He also mentioned that the fingerprint scanner will be used on the opposite side and the rear camera will be placed on the top left corner. By the way, it will be round.

The phone is expected to launch in China next month, but Vivo has yet to confirm this.

After the Vivo X Flip details leaked out, the new foldable case is the first for Android Headlines.
