Vivo V27 Pro Review

Vivo V27 Pro Review

Introduction:

The Vivo V27 trio is finally official, and it's pretty exciting. there's the regular V27 that focuses on rear camera quality, followed by the toned V27e and beefed-up V27 Pro, both with flagship performance and excellent camera quality. Today we will review the most interesting member, the vivo V27 Pro.

The new Vivo V27 Pro is a significant improvement over the previous V23 Pro and V25 Pro. While both focused on average cameras, it eclipsed them with seemingly better camera settings and a flagship chipset. It has a larger screen, while maintaining a thin and light design.

Let's start with the design. It resembles the V23 Pro and V25 Pro in that it uses the same color-changing back panel and is only 7.4mm thick. But vivo V27 Pro has a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

One of the key highlights is MediaTek's new Dimensity 8200 chipset, built on a more efficient 4nm process than the 6nm Dimensity 1200 and 1300 of previous models. It offers significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance, supports new RAM and storage, has a better ISP, and has extensive connectivity options.

The camera has also been updated. there are three cameras on the back: 50MP OIS primary, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro. The selfie camera is quite promising. The 50MP eyepiece with wide-angle lens and autofocus support is an improvement over the V25 Pro, but slightly less than the V23 Pro's 50MP + 8MP + dual-LED flash.

The Vivo V27 Pro is powered by a 4600mAh battery and supports 66W fast wired charging. The new smartphone runs Vivo's latest software, now with Android 13 Funtouch 13.

The Vivo V27 Pro comes in a long silver box. It includes a phone, a USB 8 A to C cable and an 80 W FlashCharge power bank. Note that the vivo V27 Pro is limited to 66W charging, but the manufacturer doesn't seem to mind shipping the phone with a supercharger adapter.
