Vivo X Flip Mockup Shows Its Cover Display And More

Vivo X Flip Mockup Shows Its Cover Display And More

The lid display and camera layout of the Vivo X Flip are clearly visible in the new layout.

Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X Flip foldable phone in the early months of 2023, and a recent leaked schematic shows some of the notable features of the upcoming phone.

While Vivo hasn't officially confirmed the existence of the phone, this is expected to be the company's first step into the clamshell world. And it already looks promising, judging by Vivo's schematic leaks.

POCKET VIDEO TODAY

The image shared by Playfuldroid made its debut in a deleted Weibo post and might give us a better idea of what to expect when the phone goes official later this year. The image shows the phone open on the front and back, with only a large black rectangle visible from the front. However, it does confirm that the phone will be 1080px wide, and it looks like the volume and power buttons will be on the right side of the screen - just in case something like that keeps you awake at night.

This is the other side, which is a much more interesting angle. Here we can take a closer look at what the cover will look like. We know that it will be a rectangle that sits under the camera, 682 pixels wide. Speaking of cameras, the dual camera system seems to make way for the all-important Zeiss branding.

And it does. Obviously, we don't know yet what this phone will offer in terms of specs and features, although there are already rumors that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Hopefully the rumors of a first half release in 2023 will continue. We won't have to wait too long to see how Vivo reacts to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
