Between the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Motorola Razr, 2022 has been a big year for foldable phones, but the year isn't over yet, and two notable foldable phones could be coming as early as 2023.

We're talking about the Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip, Oppo's alleged rivals to the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 respectively.

From what we've heard about them so far, they could be a huge hit and we should know all about them soon, as they only have a few days to go. Below is everything we've heard about the Oppo Find N2 series so far.

Oppo Find N2 release date and price

According to popular journalist Panda Is Bald, in a Weibo post discovered by Playfuldroid, the Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip will be announced on December 15.

It appears to be a day after Oppo's annual Anthem Day event kicks off, and the timing would make sense given that we've seen devices previously showcased at the event, not to mention the company's original foldable Oppo Find N launched in December. . 15 last year.

Also, another reliable leaker, Digital Chat Station, previously reported on Weibo that these phones will be released in mid-December. So December 15th seems very likely.

However, it should be noted that this release may be only for China. There's no word on whether we'll see these phones in other regions, though editor @UniverseIce says the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available globally, while the Find N2 isn't.

Oppo Find N2 design and display

The phone is clearly here, so some details are under wraps, but you can see a similar design to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but with a larger display cover. It also appears to have a dual-lens camera.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find N2 Flip sports a 3.26-inch OLED display, which would make it larger than the 1.9-inch display on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. It also has a foldable OLED display. 6.8 inches and 120 Hz, with a resolution of 1080 x 2520.

Another source, called Experience Plus, was more specific, reporting 233g for the leather version and 237g for the glass model. They also claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip weighs 191 grams.

Oppo Find N2 camera and battery

In posts spotted by Playfuldroid, Digital Chat Station also shed light on the Oppo Find N2's camera, saying it has a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 114-degree field of view, and a 32-megapixel camera. degree telephoto lens MP. . . With 2x optical zoom.

These appear to be the same cameras as the upcoming OnePlus 11, which is notable because foldable phones don't always match flagships in terms of camera prowess.

According to Digital Chat Station in another Weibo post, the Oppo Find N2 Flip may have a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP front camera.

In the same post, they claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 4,300 mAh battery that can charge at 44W, while elsewhere they claim that the standard Find N2 has a 4,520 mAh battery, which also offers charging. According to another source, 67 W. .

Oppo Find N2 specifications and features

The Oppo Find N2 has a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, which according to Digital Chat Station is the best Android chip of 2022 (apart from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which still uses almost nothing). They also say it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will run Android 13, with Oppo's ColorOS 13 interface on top.

As for the Oppo Find N2 Flip, it is expected to run Android 13 on top of ColorOS 13 and have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but other specifications may vary. The same post above says it has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chip for "more experience".

Some sites are also reporting a Dimensity 9200 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, but it's unclear where those specs came from. Regardless, this makes it one of the best foldable phones out there.
