Futuristic Reveals Tech N9ne Collaboration On New Album, Drops PopPunk Banger 'Dead To Me' With Loveless (Exclusive)

Future Teases New Album Release Date Kanye West Feature Hypebeast

For more than a decade, the Arizona-based rapper has been churning out hit after hit to come, hooking up with other artists like NF and Lazy Bone. Now he plans to hit the rock charts with a new pop-punk and rock album, including his latest single "Dead To Me," which topped Los Angeles duo Loveless. The new album features recent collaborations with pop-punk artists Magnolia Park and Ryan Ochs, as well as Futuristic's acclaimed rapper Tech N9ne.

Recently, PopCulture.com revealed that Futuristic - real name Zachary Lewis Beck - was accidentally created about his next project. “Most of the time I'm focused on my mission, so I know what a lot of people are doing, I should be, but at the same time I'm so focused on my mission that I don't really plan for it. Make music that I'm not making right now." He explained that he makes rock/R&B tracks. So I have a whole album that never sounds like that.

Eventually, his music career took off into a new stratosphere when he linked up with Phoenix future rockers This Modern. "I went to dozens of sessions and it never felt natural to make music. It was amazing. They listened to me, we started from scratch. They were licking it."

The first song that came out of their joint session was "Dead To Me" and with its futuristic vibe, it was sure that he was on the right track. "It was the first time we did it that day. It was like reality," he said. "All my hip-hop songs seemed very energetic. So the R&B songs, I never enjoyed playing it because I was always moving and crazy. But when I played it, it was hard to keep the volume down. , oh, it's great. So all album for a week." I did it in a week and a half, two weeks.

Another highlight of Futuristic's new project is seeing him reunite with TechN9ne, who he's worked with a few times before. "I found it on this song on the next album, 'True Color,'" Futuristic said. "The rock song lives on."

The two men have known each other for years and have worked together several times before. Futuristic remembers first meeting TechN9ne and opening for him 10 years ago. I thought, then I looked at the floor, it's like a tent theater. It's like a room with 3000 people. It was 2011.

He continued, "I did a 500-seat show with MGK, then Yelawolf, then Hobson. I did a Mac Miller show, and then they asked me to do a tech show, and it was probably over five months. I was there that night. I was I hadn't heard of the technology until then. Then something like this. I remember selling a terrible product and thinking, "Yeah, fans are different, they're different."

Ahead of his new album, Futuristic joined rock star Echo on the Futuristic 21st Century Meltdown Tour for a series of West Coast shows. He will then join Lovelace for several concert dates in the East. Fans can visit Futuristic's website for more information on tour dates.
