Samsung's Smart Monitor M8 Falls Back To A Low Of $400
The Samsung M8 (M80C, 2023 update) 32-inch smart monitor doubles as a webcam monitor and a smart TV thanks to its built-in speakers and support for cloud gaming and streaming platforms. The main downside is the $700 price tag, but it's now down to $400 on Amazon, saving you $300 or 43%.
The versatile Samsung M8 smart monitor is back at an all-time high.
The updated M8 smart monitor has the same features as the previous model, but is slimmer and rotates 90 degrees for viewing documents. It offers UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution at up to 60Hz, as well as HDR10+. Thanks to its VA panel, it is very bright (400 nits), offers a response time of 4 milliseconds and displays one billion colors with 99% sRGB coverage. In terms of inputs, you get USB-C and micro HDMI 2.0 inputs, as well as a USB-C charging interface Finally, it has a detachable slim camera for video calls, making it a great choice for work or light content creation.
However, this is only half the story. It's a Wi-Fi-enabled Smart TV that supports Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV, as well as cloud gaming platforms. It includes two 5W speakers and a home hub to control SmartThings-compatible IoT devices such as lights and thermostats. It supports Microsoft 365, so you can edit documents or browse the web without having to connect to a computer.
Other features include the ability to change the angle and position with an adjustable stand on top, and a gamepad for easy switching between cloud services. It normally retails for $700, and selling for $400 is a great deal, so you better act fast while it's still available.
